We had the pleasure of staying at 2 Ohmmm locations in Lisbon during our week there- one in Alfama and this one in Campo D Ourique. Our stay was beautiful, peaceful and near so many truly local amenities – great markets and bakeries and restaurants as well as a local park and other things. The apartment itself is clean and peaceful and just a gorgeous place to stay. The garden is a lovely bonus as well. The owners provide comprehensive information about the area and surroundings, and someone is always available to help. Speaking of which, Filipa, who works for the Ohmmm properties, is just an angel. While staying in Alfama, I broke my foot and not only did Filipa organize for us to move to Raquel and Luis’s gorgeous (and handicap accessible) apartment, she took us to the hospital, stayed with us there the entire day (from 8 am until 10 pm) and helped us translate and organize all the details with the hospital. She also recommended a local driver Paulo, who took us all over and had special experience getting people in wheelchairs around. Because of them, we were able to actually enjoy our trip and not have to stress about so many things that we otherwise would have due to my unexpected injury. It was a sanctuary in every sense. And again Filipa is a truly special person who went above and beyond for us.
