Alfama antique

At the top of an old Palace of the XVIII century, there is this cosy apartment with the charm of the time passing by… Built in 1701 it has resisted to the 1755 earthquake (it’s an antique house!…). In 1868 it has been converted to a building of 3 flats with 3 apartments for each flat, inhabited by familys of different social strata. The familys with more possessions, offer the pleasant view to theire gardens, from the back of the house (sleeping room and Kitchen) and the birds offer a beautifull sound to awake in the morning. You can’t look straight to the river, but if you take a peep or seet on the living room window ledge, than you can confortable contemplate it. At Rua dos Remédios, you´ll find several mercearias (grocery stores), where you can buy all the things you need to well start the day: new bread, milk, fruit… – these are good places and gives you the opportunities to meet the neighbourhood.

Large and clean apartment, well equipped and tastefully decorated. It’s very well located in the beautiful Alfama district and a three minute walk to the metro. We slept very well the four nights because of the quiet room. In short, a perfect stay (and a warming welcoming)

The apartment very spacious is in a lovely area of the old town of Lisbon and we enjoyed the walking from here to to local shops and restaurants and the water front. We where met by Paulina from Ohmm who was very helpful with lots of information about how to get around and things to do around Lisbon. Its a top apartment in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon. The apartment was clean and cozy, and tons of space for the 2 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make some simple meals. Paulina was great with check in and very accessible throughout our stay for questions and info. The area was very beautiful and quiet, but we did find ourselves walking into the Bairro Alto area (about 20 minutes) frequently. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment was in a lovely old world charm building. It was larger than we expected and had an elevator, which was a very pleasant and welcomed surprise. It was spacious and decorated very nicely. The kitchen has all the amenities if you would like to make your own meals. Filipa, Ana, Paulina and their cleaning staff did a tremendous job getting us into the apartment as early as they could. And thank you Paulina for your recommendations. The only unfortunate part was we were only there for 1 night. We wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again if we are ever in Lisbon. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your lovely apartment. Dulce & Stephen
